Workshop flier ✈️
This workshop will provide a forum for the development and dissemination of applications of econometrics and other quantitative approaches in health economics. It will follow the format of the long-running European workshops on econometrics and health economics.
We are now calling for papers for presentation, with up to 14 papers to be accepted. Presentations by doctoral students and early career researchers are encouraged.
Papers accepted for presentation will each be allocated a 55-minute session, including 30 minutes for a presentation, 10 minutes for an appointed discussant and 10 minutes for general discussion.
The number of workshop participants is strictly limited, and participants will be expected to attend the full workshop.
Please see the drop-down below for more information on papers, including the submission deadline.
Please submit a full draft of the paper OR a 1000-word (minimum) abstract by 19 December 2025.
If sending an abstract, it should be structured to include details of the aims, the econometric methods used (in the past some abstracts have not contained econometric detail so we have been unable to properly assess them), and results.
Results should be included even if they are preliminary. Abstracts containing no results or no details of the econometric methods will be less likely to be accepted.
Abstracts and papers will be judged primarily on the quality of their econometrics content. We strongly encourage presentation and discussion of work in progress.
Those invited to participate will be asked to pay the registration fee in February 2026.
Full registration: AU$580
PhD students: AU$200
Low and middle income countries: AU$300*
*A citizen residing in a country on the World Bank list of low and middle income countries.
